I’ve played WoW since WotLK, and even though I preordered Legion, I’m currently on a break from the game (which I do from time to time). I don’t know which has been my favorite expansion really. I wasn’t around when BC and WotLK came out, so not going to harp on those. I think maybe my least favorite have been Cataclysm; though I am a huge fan of pet battling. I’ve never been big into raiding, so that didn’t matter to me. Initially, I liked garrisons, but overtime, meh. And the selfie camera is awesome lol seriously, I loved that addition. MoP in general was probably my favorite expansion. To me, there was a lot of content, and the quest lines were really enjoyable for me. Hopefully Legion will keep me interested. I’ll be back just before it comes out, but… if it isn’t fantastic, I hate to say it, my time with WoW may soon be coming to an end. I’m more of a solo player on mmos, so sometimes there just isn’t enough solo content/achievement whoring stuff to keep me interested.

Legion looks like there is so much solo content. The profession quest lines alone look like there could take forever

I used to have a WoW addition lol I think a lot of people have, still do, but it’s not so uncommon, yea. Now I consider myself very casual with it. I used to be huge into PvP, but I personally think it has gone downhill, starting in MoP. I don’t know, just it has just been getting worse. I wonder if it will get better with Legion. I hope so, cause love some PvP.

didnt care for wod either. some of it was okay, i kinda liked the garrisons, but outside of the garrisons, it felt like there wasnt enough to do at all. agreed about the raids for wod, they were great, but again, not enough to do. i think my fav was wotlk. introduced a lot of great things.

i stopped playing maybe 6 months after warlords. i thought garrisons held alot of promise but really, they became all consuming. i don’t really have a fav expansion, they all had some pros and cons. but im with ya about warlords being the worst. legion looks promising, will come back to see how it is.

I must be the odd one, cause I like the garrisons lol It has made gathering much easier 😛 My only gripe with them are the costs for upgrading things. For the most part, I’ve liked WoD, but I know it is lacking. Raiding has been great though! The biggest thing I did not like was changes to shammy healing. My favorite was MoP; Pandaria was gorgeous and questing was fun again. I felt it introduced a lot of great NPCs and I really liked that the Pandarian race could be Horde or Alliance.

Yeah, but it means you got out into the world less. And didn’t interact with people as much. Raiding has been fantastic though, just wish there was stuff to do besides raiding
