Microsoft and EA are accused of back-end deals of paying Youtubers for favorable reviews, and Nintendo?s recent reports Wii U and 3DS sales are below predictions, causing their financial stock to fall.
Lately, Microsoft has been accused of paying Youtubers money to provide favorable reviews related to the Xbox One, without it being made clear to viewers. This has led to some anger and questioning of the professional integrity of Microsoft and the Youtube Channels involved. EA has also been accused of the same tactics. We wondered if this shady tactic was really worth cost savings over the traditional method of sending items for reviews. Nintendo recently announced that Wii U and 3DS sales are below that they predicted last year, and that they will revise future forecasts of the systems. This has led to Nintendo?s financial stock price to drop by a large amount, as well as causing people to question about the future of the Wii U and Nintendo?s involvement in the game console market.
