Fable Legends got cancelled, Super NES games will be playable on New 3DS but not regular 3DS, NPD game sales numbers for February were released, Everquest Next was also cancelled, and the all-episode disc version of Hitman gets delayed to 2017.
First off, we would like to thank all of you people who listened to our podcasts and commented on them! We love comments, and we answered last week’s comments on this episode! Kicking off this episode, Fable Legends got cancelled, and Lionhead Studios is very much in jeopardy. Sony seems to think so; they are thinking of hiring some Lionhead Studio staff. Super Nintendo games are finally coming to Nintendo 3DS…but only the New 3DS. Sales data were out, and PS4 selling well is no surprise. It was more worth it to read the top ten games sold list for the month. The other game that got cancelled from development was Everquest Next, citing the reason of feeling unable to live up to Everquest expectations. Hitman is episodic, and the disc version with all episodes has been delayed to 2017.
NOTE: During the trivia session, the AlphaGo info was misread. It actually was powered by a couple thousand CPUs and over a couple hundred GPUs.
