Nintendo announced a new preloaded NES console, vinyl media gets a small boost with the Rocket League and Killer Instinct soundtracks, Sony and Microsoft will not have press conferences at Gamescom 2016, and Star Wars: Battlefront will officially receive an offline skirmish mode.
For those seeking for an inexpensive way to enjoy some of the most famous classics from the NES days, Nintendo has announced a new “mini-NES” preloaded with thirty games, all for the price of $60. It is not a bad price since individual purchases on Virtual Console would add up to more. Vinyl media has had its popularity increased in recent years, and for the gamer there will be Rocket League and Killer Instinct soundtracks for the media! It will be expensive though. Gamescom 2016 is looking less exciting as Sony and Microsoft will both not have press conferences there. Offline mode will officially come to Star Wars: Battlefront, which prompted more questions as to why it did not exist in the first place. Overwatch has been a massive phenomenon and in competitive play, Blizzard took feedback and will implement a “one-hero limit” for its competitive mode.
