It has been a long time since our last episode, but we did another episode of The Raid despite having inactive subscriptions. With the latest 5.2 “The Thunder King” patch, there is a world boss that is taking well over one hundred players to take out. Before we got to that, we discussed the some of the easiest classes to play, Bronson discusses some more old-time Warcraft stories, and we wondered how The Elder Scrolls Online is going to be executed even with the hype going around.

The Mists of Panderia expansion is out. Bronson and I spent almost the whole time talking about our impressions on what we've experienced so far. Of course, no episode of The Raid is complete with Bronson praising the experiences found in Wrath of the Lich King, and our bashing on the Burning Crusade. We also throw in our speculation on what the next expansion is going to be like.

You really can't go to many gaming places without find a Mists of Panderia advertisement. Wrath of the Lich King is now included in the Battlechest, and the dead Lich King awaits in the abandoned Ice Crown Citadel. The Burning Crusades and Outland continue to be a sore field. We also talked about what we are most excited about with the new Panderia expansion. We got a bit sidetracked towards the end talking about the potential future office basement.

Ok, so we got into Warcraft enough times on the GameKast that we got feedback mentioning our constant straying into the topic. So, to keep the GameKast a proper general-gaming podcast, we decided to start a new podcast, where we talk nothing but World of Warcraft and Blizzard related stuff. Tentatively, we are aiming to for The Raid to be a bi-weekly podcast.
