PlayStation’s E3 2012 Spectacle Already In Effect – Nick’s Gaming View Episode #69

Nick's Gaming View Episode #69

PlayStation’s Super Smash Bros. reproduction goes official, Sony’s Santa Monica studios to possibly announce first-person painter, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 becomes official with release date, and more.

Despite E3 2012 being just over a month away, Sony continues to announce one AAA exclusive after another. God of War Ascension, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and now another release from one of Sony’s Santa Monica studios that I provide the inside scoop on after doing some digging. While June 5th is the first official day of E3 2012, with Sony’s E3 2012 press conference taking place on the 4th, I feel it is safe to say Sony has already began their spectacle leading into North America’s largest gaming event of the year.

Continuing with groundbreaking news within the industry, leaked pre-order cards from Target have reached the internet officially announcing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 along with its official release date. While May 1st will be the date of Activision’s formal announcement, I provide you with the information I have obtained early to cure those with “CoD addiction”.

As with every episode, Nick’s Gaming View Episode #69 is filled with a line-up of content no gamer should miss out on, as who wants to be the uninformed gamer on the net? This is Nick’s Gaming View!

lol funny question at the end, Is Sony showing too much before E3? Isn't that the case for everyone the past 2-3 years? E3 isnt about surprises anymore its about who has the best stuff to show off and clearly Sony won E3 past 3 years. MS is usually always predictable, they'll: talk about great sales figures, reveal first CoD gameplay then reveal they will have timed exclusive DLC, show Kinect trash, then end it with Halo 4.
Revealing your games before E3 hypes up there E3 conference even more

No way!!! Nintendo won e3 2010 (if its the year I'm thinking of) where they showed something along the lines of 30 games. Ms redeemed themselves in 2011 with games i'd never expect them to show like Tomb raider and their kinect based reveals were actually good with gunsmith and mass effect 3. Also adding a brilliant YouTube app and continued Kinect support for ALL Tom Clancy games.

Compare MS 2010 conference to 2011's and they showed things that I think no one saw coming after that atrocity 2010 was with kinectimals... Oh god just thinking about it scares me.

I would love to hear what Reggie has to say about this lol and for your question, I know Sony has done this before but like you said, not with a title as big as God of War and a title gamers have been wanting forever! Great show, you are getting better and better man, proud to be an early fan of yours!

Props to you bro on another immaculate episode of NGV! As you guys stated on Unscripted Access I truly believe Sony is going to use this E3 to pilo their vita and announce maybe one or two big titles for PS3 plus some exclusives with third parties. Still can't believe they announced God of War: Ascension, that would have been an incredible way to end their press conference this year!

YAY! I am so glad that PlayStation All-Stars is now official, just hoping Nariko is in it! I think Sony has blown us all away already, who knows what they have planned for E3! You are so lucky to be able to go, cannot wait to see the coverage from you guys!

Loving your transition from topic to topic. I know it may seem like I am just saying what everyone else is saying, but you are really getting much better with each episode and your progression is not slowing down so got to give you props on that. Looking forward to your projects launching later this year ;-)
