E-mail Print PDF

Generation X

In this episode, we discuss what has been in our consoles, including Bioshock 2, and Dante's Inferno. Sanii quickly disappears right after he shows the world how horrible Australian Internet and MAC computers are. Fable III gets our impressions based on the latest occurences at X10. With the differences in the Dante's Inferno Literature and Dante's Inferno video game, we talk about how important is it for video games stay close to its original piece of art work, and whether gamers should care. Patience becomes a topic of discussion when questioning whether gamers have enough patience for games. Our last topic is concerning the recent events at Microsofts X10, and whether 2010 is shaping out to be the year of the XBOX 360. Konrad blesses us with another GamerTunes. Stay tuned.

Number of episodes-wise, Generation X has officially caught up to Accelerated Gaming. smilies/tongue.gif

It's a bit ironic that Accelerated Gaming was created to be a daily, 15 minute podcast, but now is rarely recorded and is 1-2 hours long when it actually is released.

@Pik. That's more factual than ironic.

$50 a year for Xbox Live is insane!!! If I bought Modern Warfare 2 for 360, I'd have to pay an extra 50 bucks a year just to play it online!!! It's bullsh*t!!! They might as well charge an arm and a leg too!!! smilies/tongue.gif
(Trying to get Louie to buy me a one year subscription card)

I couldn't blame u for feeling that way. Not everyone has problems, but when I buy a game and can't connect to Louie and my bestfriend, it becomes a problem that is hard to ignore

@Louie,

I agree with 98% of your Bioshock 2 assessment. The game picked up for me after about an hour, I knew early on health packs were a premium after that the game was intense. Electrical Power was a must because it would stop enemies in their tracks & you could work them out.

Louie we could throw out some MAJOR SPOILERS if we wanted, the game changed that much as far as the characters & how they were used, totally surprised me. The Big Sister was hard as hell but I efed that *****-up. When the Little Sisters were extracting ADAM for us, I set so many traps for the enemies, I didn't have to fire a weapon one time a couple times I set her down. Other times I didn't have the firepower to fight so I let her crawl back in her hole.

I beat it saving all the Little Sisters, I'll beat it again Harvesting them. I also think I didn't like Bioshock 2 at first because I just came off a Mass Effect 2 High. Great Game.

@Louie,
I haven't played beaten Bioshock 2 for a 2nd time yet, I will after I beat Mass Effect 2 on Insanity Mode. I dont know, I just like shooters more than any genre.
