E-mail Print PDF

Generation X

In this episode, we exercise our GenX unity as the Diz steps down from the podcast hosting seat and passes the torch to Sanii. We cover the weekly news that includes details about Backbreaker, Fable 3, Halo Reach beta. Louie christin's Michael Pachter a new name when referring to what predictions he has made this week concerning Red Dead Redemption. We discuss the impact that the gaming world will receive from publishers like EA, THQ and Ubisoft making the decision to withhold content and require a new purchase of a game to receive a code to play online and if it's a conspiracy just to get gamers to put up more money, but we come up with a solution for everybody to stfu. We discuss certain requirements to fully reviewing a game and what not to do when reviewing a game. We also discuss the games that have been in our consoles as of late which includes: Red Dead Redemption, Skate 3, Alan Wake. Being that it's the GenX crew, we find some way to talk about the PS3 exclusive Modnation Racers. Diz and Louie have a moment of nostalgia and bring up a hiphop legend. We also end the show with our usual antics and take it to another level and diss another site. Stay tuned.

Generation X Episode 44: Sequels Rule Over Innovation

    E-mail Print PDF

    Generation X

In this episode, we discuss the recent release of the Halo Reach Beta and the effect it had on our views of the Halo Multiplayer world. Microsoft releases another “Valuable Arcade Bundle” and Activision thinks the Stimulus Map Pack is a “Valuable Deal” for gamers, so ofcourse we denounce both statements. Call Of Duty the “War” collection is announced and we discuss whether certain game bundles are really needed and not needed. Our topic of the day is: Developers have been keeping tabs on whether gamers really want as much as they say they do, statistics show gamers want the same game and not so much games with new ideas, not to mention not completing those games as well, is this true or no? And for some reason the last half hour we show how geeks rule the world by turning an Xbox podcast into a cellphone podcast by belittling other phones while crowning the Apple iPhone as the King of Cellphones. Konrad delivers another Gamer Tunes. Stay tuned.
