Super Mega Awesome Go Play Time has returned! For this series, we have chosen to feature Okami HD. Released in 2006, it is a very well acclaimed game, but was overshadowed by the many major releases during that year. With the relatively recent release of the HD version, we dove in. The story begins with the telling of a legend, which nearly took up all the time of this first episode. Our terrible voice acting also makes its return.

This is the last episode of this series of Super Mega Awesome Go Play Time! We fought the final boss of the prelude and succeeded. The show will be on break for some time before we return with our next game (still undecided at this time of writing). We found a boss with an incomprehensible name and of really strange animal mash-ups. We ventured into the Periphery, along with the sack, named “You”. It was a rather standard Periphery run.

Finished up the house run, and enter the underground caverns that were filled with bad luck “topazes.” Enemies included giant mutant fish, Chinese food, and a crocodile species with a great name.

The free DLC for the game tells the prelude to Episode 3 of the game. It turned out quite tedious as we took a while to traverse a suburb neighborhood and abandoned deteriorating house.

We finished the game! Sort of. We faced Dr. Blood and his minion! Afterwards, a huge amount of story text ensued and we struggled to keep up. The way the game ended, we may come back to the series in the future. We could have ended this series of Super Mega Awesome Go Play Time, but during our one-month recording hiatus, free DLC came out. We dove into the DLC to find more humor.

Due to the heavy pounding by the game’s most difficult boss in the game, Bronson leveled the group during our one-month hiatus between recording sessions. With a group level up by a few, we tried the boss fight again. We also returned to our voice acting and did a random run against Molly the Were-Zompire.
