Konami has posted a Q&A with Hideo Kojima, the God of the Metal Gear Solid world. In the posting, Kojima focuses on the PSP game Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
So here are some highlights: Snake will be customizable, this game is a "MSG5 class game", and the "anit-war" theme will continue. Remember, this game picks the story up right after the completion of Metal Gear Solid 3. It's scheduled to be released in 2010. Here is the entire Q&A.

It'll be a good game nonetheless. MGS Portable Ops was a decent game for the psp I'm sure this will be as good.
