Sony just put a tweet out onto Twitter announcing that the ModNation Racers Beta is slated to start December 09. The only method known of getting a code at this point, is by purchasing the Game of The Year Edition of LittleBigPlanet, but expect to see new methods announced later on. Below I have quoted exactly what Sony said.
"ModNation Racers Beta is slated for December '09, vouchers now available in the LBP GOTY Edition. Register for updates: http://bit.ly/zJOLT"

This is one of my most hyped games for the PS3 coming in the next year. The only game I will play on the Wii is Mario Kart and this is essentially the same thing with the creation aspect of LittleBigPlanet. I can't wait!!!

Oh hell yeah, but too bad I already own LBP. This will be good for people who don't own it because it is a great game. I need to get in this, Mario Kart is also my favorite racing franchise lol. It is the one I played the most at least

I can't wait till this game comes out. I still play till this day Mario Kart on the SNES with my roommate. I really do not like any of the other Mario Kart's cause the kart's just go too damn slow compared to the SNES version.
Can't wait for this cause it reminds me of the kart speed from the SNES Mario Kart.

It's great to hear that there will be a beta. But to me it's proly not the best time to hold a beta. WAY to many games coming out around that time.

ya i just found out about this 2 days ago, so i went ahead and picked up LBPGOTY. I bought LBP on day 1 but eventually sold it. I kinda missed playing it, its a good game when your bored or in between games. Anyways, needless to say im pretty disappointed i have to wait almost 3 months before i can even download the beta. I will be even more upset if they have a free or cheap way to get into the private beta. But, sony wanted to push LBPGOTY and this was the way to do it. I mean they got me to buy it didnt they? haha
