Square Enix recently released a java game on the companys website by the name of Dive II Hunt: Sorbets Great Adventure. A java game? Seriously?
You play as a moogle by the name of Sorbet trying to become the Hunter Dive Master. You have 30 days to catch as many fish as possible while upgrading your equipment and scoring as much gil as you can. If Sorbet should run out of air during his fishing escapades then he will be bed-ridden for the next little while, hindering your chances at success. There is also a leaderboard where you can check out the high scores.
Personally I dont understand why SE are bothering with things like this when they could be putting that energy towards a new IP for one of the systems. Square Enix know that their Final Fantasy series is a cash cow, and theyre going to keep on milking it until its dry.
