Skate 3 Announced

I can't believe I've waited this long to post it, but Skate 3 was announced today. Aside from MLB The Show, the skate franchise has been my favorite for sports in the past few years.

This game has been high-quality and very fun. It has destroyed the Tony Hawk game into an overpriced peripheral. Read more for the video, which auto plays.

Here is what EA says will be done with Skate 3, which will ship in May.

SKATE 3 features an all-new co-op mode where teammates can complete challenges together while advancing each other's careers. From rewarding epic bails and fails with a beefed up Hall of Meat mode to honing your craft with the all-new skate.School, players of all skill levels have multiple ways to "kill it" in the game. The franchise also continues to raise the bar for user created content with the skate.Create feature suite, an innovative toolset that empowers gamers to truly express their skate style by creating their own graphics, videos, and skate parks.

i played skate 1 and 2 and they were both fun games. I like how they use the right analog stick for ollies and what not. ill probably rent this game before i buy it. i just wish ea would consider a bmx on this level using the right stick for bunny hops and what not. anyway im sure skate 3 will be better than the others. looking forward to the hall of meat again.

@HONDA. I'm excited about what they're going to do with the user-created content. The ability to create your own spot and download others is pretty awesome in Skate 2. And the video editor is real nice. Can't wait for this one.

I really liked the first and the second. I also like the idea of the coop buddy system.
