I'm gonna agree with Diz, the game I had the most fun with that particular year would make it my GOTY.

nothing personally against you or anyone... But I think that metacritic scores shouldn't be only reason for choosing the game of the year... (u should also consider your own personal stand point...)
But I do believe GTA 4 was great game... but it wasn't my game... I didn't enjoy playing it at all...

GTA4 was great i think, not that superb as Vice City obviously. I loved the story but online sucked, i played multiplayer only od ps3, tons of bugs and disconnections thats all.

Nick, you're fkin lucky man I'm trying to finish Uncharted 1 before Uncharted 2 comes out and Uncharted 1 single player so far is amazing!! I'm currently in Chapter 12 I'm fkin amazed, the story is really good. Uncharted 2 is gonna be like 10X better from what I hear. I think the game of the year is either Uncharted 2 or MW2 but hopefully Uncharted 2
