This week's show is packed, as Konrad, the star of our Gamer Tunes, and Darmok45 (Mike) join us to discuss the news and topics going on in the gaming world this week. The group tells about how they feel about achievements, and Sanii tells us how darker-toned characters get discriminated in games. We do a roundtable and discuss certain things when comparing consoles and games and if sales really matter. Of course, what is a Gen X show without telling the world how much Halo has taken over the world again and Konrad blesses us at the end of the show with this week's Gamer Tunes.

Im getting Tropico 3 on PC, loved the first one and played it to death smilies/smiley.gif Second sucked major ass haha
@Louie, you say you're ok with digital distribution, but you mention a lotta times that you rented this game, or would only rent that one. Would you rent them online if possible, i mean download all those gigs for a few days of gameplay?

@lethal I would download rentals. How is that different from demos? A downloading rental service would be brilliant and would shut down blockbuster fir good. Why hope a game isn't checked out if you can just download?

I actually purchased my first true digital download game tonight:

Rainbow Six Vegas

For some reason, I never finished the RSV1 campaign. And while I could get the disc for $9 at the local GameStop, I decided to actually try out the Games on Demand instead. At 6.6 gigs, it will finish downloading tomorrow morning.

By the way, my GamerTag is "Darmok45".

I guess, i think i was affected with his whole bandwidth caps topic somehow smilies/smiley.gif) It would be great deal for Sony and MS, they would make some money on ppl who dont keep games like sell them or rent them. I think Sony will provide PSP Go rentals.

i think left 4 dead 2 will still have blood just no Decapitation or chopping off limbs which does suck it will have the same gore as left 4 dead 1 but i wonder what will happen online when we play with US gamers anyway great show cant wait for the next game lobby peace dudes

Yea, Bayonetta demo is crazy! I'm looking forward to this game, next year!
