Things have been slow and most of us are just waiting for our favorite games to come out over the next few months. Tokyo Game Show had some announcements but I am going to save most of that for a special show that should be up this weekend. Needed to get a few things off my chest so here we go.
- ODST Sells 2 Million At Launch!
- 360 vs. PS3: Halftime Score 28 - 7
- Does Timed Exclusivity Really Matter?
- What Is A Gamer?
- Netgear Wireless HD Gaming Kit (Link)
- FFXIII 250gb PS3 Bundle Hits Japan In December 2009
- Gran Turismo 5 Releasing March 2010 in Japan, What About Everywhere Else?
- PS2 Emulation Coming? Here We Go Again!
- Cross-Game Chat in October for PS3?
- Netflix on PS3? Netflix Wants To, Will Sony Make the Move?
- MUCH MUCH MORE

Dave Good to get the Gamer on Duty back man. Keep doing what youre doing as theres always great content in your podcasts. I know what you mean about getting the 360 for Forza. Ive got a move to Australia next week but hoping to scrape the cash together to buy both by release date....Damn its going to be an expensive holiday season for games.
Look forward to Round table.

Great episode Dave. Thanks for mentioning me on the show.
I think that Sony should do there own rental service for the video store. They really don't need Netflix because they get all the new movies and tv shows on their video store as soon as they come out. Unless they need a partner to stream the movies and shows over the net, they don't need netflix cause that would be another partner they would have to split up all their profits with from the video store.
Cross Game Chat coming in October I really don't give a damn about cross game chat. To me it would cause more problems for me playing games online than actually making it better for the PSN (TO ME). Rather have a universal party system than that any day.
That's all I can remember from the show right now but I will comment again when I listen to it again. Can't wait for the next one.

Wired is always better than wireless when dealing with latency. You should have considered this, provided that the electrical wiring in your home can support it (and it most likely can):
http://www.netgear.com/Product...E104G.aspx
This gives you a 4-port switch on both ends of the Ethernet over Power connection too. So you plug one in near your cable/dsl modem and the other behind your entertainment center.

Cool show, mane. Too many games, so little time. I only gettin 3 or 4 games this fall/winter until next year. Time is my enemy. I'm still playin Resistance 2(max class/10000k trophy left). I just signup for Netflix last week. It's cool, but your streaming options are limited. I can watch Family Guy on Hulu, but not on Netflix. Thanks for the info about Netgear, and I thinking about a wireless network. Oh, Im on that J & Kid Cudi, too.

@ Dave - Hey, all of my J's albums are burn copies except for Black, American Gangster, & BP3. Oh, I 4got about Vol 1(used). I dont like J until the first Blueprint, then I went back to the previous albums. Yea, Cudi is on a different planet, but good to hear something different.

Definition of a gamer is a gamer that has damn near played everything. I played my first game Pong in 1976, next system was the Atari 2600 in 1978 for $400 at Sears new. Ive played every Army game from Combat to Killzone 2 & now Halo 3:ODST, because FPS's are my favorite, followed by Action & Racing games.
ODST isn't an expansion, its the truth & I'm glad its selling like crazy.
PS, make this available for download, I dont have time to sit at the computer & listen.
