It amazes me how people can say the PS3 exclusives blow the 360's out of the water as far as looks. Let me tell you, Uncharted is the most overrated looking game of all times. Uncharted doesn't look better than Ninja Gaiden 2 on the 360, & don't tell me Uncharted is realistic because it isn't, its a cartoon game like the rest of them. It seems as if you guys say something enough it must be true; it isn't!
Killozne 2, you guys rant & rave about the games looks, but Killzone 2 has Zero substance. For instance, where in the hell is the co-op? Why is Killzone 2 so linear? Why does Killzone 2 have re-spawning enemies? Why do the environments look so basic? Why can you blow-up a building & the building next to it, on either side; you cant leave a mark, bullet hole, burn mark from the rocket launcher, anything: you can see nothing that resembles a shot being fire at the building. I'll tell you why, GG & SONY wouldn't have the memory to make the game look as good as it does, that isn't close to the beauty that most media says it is.
I've just listened to the beginning of this podcast, I'll continue now.

@aclaw4u,
I don't have time for fanboy garbage, I tell it like it is. I beat the hell out of Killzone 2, in fact I've played every important video game since 1976 & Pong, then my mother bought us an Atari 2600 at Sears for $400 in 1978. I'm a Veteran Gamer, period.
When I say basic environments, I'm talking about the difficulty of the level. The levels in Killzone 2 look like it was filmed in the construction district in Gary Indiana on 11th & Chase Street. There isn't 1 level in Killzone 2 like fighting in that Worm in Gears 2, for example. Since you don't think I've played the game: that building I'm talking about, you can start shooting at it before anyone comes out & by the time they can shoot at you, the building can come crashing down on them. Now, shoot the buildings on either side, they cant be damaged; Killzone 2 is all script. Even the bridge you blow-up, why cant you destroy the other bridges?
Why cant we drive that fake Warthog like jeep, when in Halo 3, you can drive or ride in the passenger seats in most of the vehicles you see; flying or driving. Why did driving the tank suck in Killzone 2? I pounded Killzone 2 so hard, I beat the first 2 & 1/2 stages with the Pistol, & had the Rocket launcher on my back just to test the physics of the game out. I love FPS to death, even the terrible controls the game had before they changed them didnt bother me, I'm good like that.
I can go on & on about Killzone 2 all day, but I need to go, I'll be back. Also, I like the podcasts on this site & will continue to listen, they are very entertaining. I'll finish this podcast Sunday sometime.

Do not argue with otherzinc. He is a rabid fanboy that argues with everyone on all the other sites about 360 and PS3. He will always find ways to twist a PS3 game to the way that he does not like it to the point where it doesn't make sense anymore. He feels that every game should be the same as the other games and no games should be different. Please just do not argue with him.

@gmoney0505,
I can speak for myself. Thanks.
@David,
I'm listening to the rest of the podcast now.
You're correct, to each his own, I'm not blind, I have a 50" SAMSUNG 1080p DLP, & its crystal clear you've never played through the end of Ninja Gaiden 2. There is so much **** going on in NG2 it will make your head spin. At the same time, I didnt finish Uncharted, but I will finish it before Uncharted 2.
The reason I brought up the other aspects of games was you used the term "Quality", with that said, its my opinion that certain genre's should have standard features, Killzone 2 should have co-op, COD:MW1 shouldve had co-op, Battlefield should have had co-op, see what I'm saying? When someone says quality to me, I'm thinking the entire product, all aspects, modes, & features.
Killzone 2 had that cursing @ss Richo running with you the entire game, tell me one of your boys shouldn't be able to take control of him, to roll together in some co-op (nohomo). I'm not saying co-op should be in every game, just military games where a squad is present. For instance: Uncharted 2 doesn't need co-op but they are giving it to you anyway, that's going the extra mile for the consumer & that's what serving your community is all about! Uncharted 2 is also adding a multi player that it didnt need to have: when I say it didnt need it, I'm talking about games such as Ninja Gaiden, Resident Evil, Bioshock, Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider etc... games that are devoted to single player with no squads present. Although Splinter Cell & a few others have added co-op they didnt need to & I commend companies for their extra work.
I thought Red Faction was terrible.
With your exclusives, you can add Crackdown & a few others to that. However, with the sales of the 360 exclusives, that point can be dealt with on its own. As far as the rest of 2009, Halo 3:ODST will outsell Uncharted 2 & Ratchet & Clank by itself, there's no need to add Forza 3 & Left 4 Dead 2. But, as you said, its the gamers preference as the games they like or dislike.
As far the portion of the podcast I've listened to. I don't remember who said this, M$ is gypping people because of the RROD. I don't think so, They Are Absolutely Pissing People Off For 10 DAYS! Yeah, I've been pissed four times with 2 consoles (my sons & mine). But you know, I've yet to spend 1 Dime on a repair. Now SONY, if you are 1 day over your warranty: $150! I would hurt someone, that's gypping people.
Also, Online Play; SONY was online before the XBOX in 2002, they were sabotaging the Dreamcast saying: "the PS2 is going to be wireless broadband out of the box & going to be much better than the Dreamcasts online structure". That was before the XBOX, SONY thought they could live off the past success of the PS1 & PS2, well surprise, the 360 took that online torch & wont let it go. So, SONY should be criticized for their terrible online structure, there's no excuse for what they have now.
I can speak for myself. Thanks.

@David,
Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to argue about games, games are what I use to escape the bs of real life. However, games are my passion & everything we talk about is debatable, there are no absolutes here, just opinions & predictions. The only one Really getting paid is Michael Pachter, I enjoy out forecasting him each year.
I'm training my son to stay up with current events so he can have an easy job like Pachter, making big bank, doing something fun like gaming.
Halo 3:ODST isn't going to sell on name alone, it will sell because they are the most trusted developer on the 360. Meaning, hit, after hit, after hit, now a FPS non-linear Halo game is next, I expect the same results, greatness!

Good show, mane. I enjoy the Nintendo Wii discussion. I dont know about the poor sales of The Conduit. On old releases/remakes, I hope Capcom do a PSN release of Rival Schools, and they make a sequel for Marvel Vs Capcom, not Dinsey Vs Capcom. I would also like to see a remake of Double Dragon.

I agree with Dave about the boss battle in Batman:AA being weak sauce. I hated the Killer Croc boss battle that was even weaker sauce. To me the game is a 8.5. It is nowhere as being a better superhero game than inFAMOUS but it is probably the best game based on a comic book.
They just posted a video of Fat Princess on the ps blog about a new patch and new maps coming for the game. They would not say anything about new classes coming.
Keep the roundtable going.
