I will admit it; I was disappointed in the controls for the Resident Evil 5 demo. But after you get passed all that and give it another chance, the game is phenomenal.
Just like any other Resident Evil game, this game feels the same as Resident Evil 4. As you play it more, it becomes much easier to control and get adjusted to. So if you would stop complaining and master the controls, you will most likely enjoy the game much more. If you can’t recognize this games potential, you are not seeing the full picture here. This is not Dead Space people, this is Resident Evil, and as a Resident Evil game, it deserves to be played and enjoyed by the Resident Evil fans. With this said, please stop putting this game up to Dead Space because they are two separate games with their own style.
Playing through the demo (with my friend) was a blast. We learned how to communicate, share ammo, heal each other, and help each other out. Resident Evil 5 is survival horror at its finest. And like I said, once you learn to get past the controls (like you did in Resident Evil 4) and not just turn it off or delete it off your hard drive after the first 10 minutes, you will appreciate this game to the fullest.
Resident Evil 5 is no walk in the park, it’s a challenging game. This game is not meant to attract many of the “soft core” gamers. The ones, who are complaining about the controls and like your games “easy”, need to go back to playing Call of Duty because Resident Evil 5 is a hardcore survival horror game to the max. If you actually decide to give this game a chance, please try to get adjusted to the controls so you can enjoy this game the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
