You guys saying you wouldnt pay $70 for a game??

How much did you pay for killzone 2? $64 (with tax) + map pack 1 $6 + map pack 2 $6 + map pack 3 $6 = 82

COD5 WAW $64 + 3 map packs @ $9 = $91

The only difference is Infinity Ward is coming up front for their money (that is if they give you all the maps to begin with).. GG is trying to make you feel good about paying the extra money.. WE all know that the maps are made prior to release.... come on now..

but yes 70-80 for a game is bs though.. Good show guys

Yo, I'm with Dave & Shamarri. They need to bundle GT with the PS3 system. I dont know about the photo & video feature. Cool features. On the developers's subject, I like see to AKI Corporation do some more games. They made the WCW, WWF/WWE, & the first two Def Jam. No other wrestling game has been the same to me. Maybe in multi-platform games, but as far as first party games go? I think not.
And even then, lazy developers should be at fault, not a console.

buying a game for 80 bucks is saying screw the rest of gamers. these games will go up in price, dont be a fool, dont buy games that are over priced. i wouldnt buy god of war 3 for 70 bucks. If we dont buy this game at 70 bucks they will drop the price.

gta4 was a let down just as modern warfare will be. i loved san andreas but gta 4 was a let down.
rental sounds good but what if yo really love a game and its out of print like valkyria chronicles cant find this game no where i would want the game after i played it .then i have paid for a rental and a game.

this is a beta gen look at home its still in beta form. look for home to be sony interface and you access the xmb bar from inside of it.

the new engine is because your right its a spin off but the metal gear engine was built specifcally for the ps3. its def a hack and slash.
yeah i could see a xclusive coming to ps3.

so to say that no game on the 360 is hold back the ps3 goes against what devlopers are saying about the ps3 has more power. the install really dont matter because installs make the game run smoother. cutting back on a game means it changes why is the agent coming on the ps3.

the installs are for load times.

every 360 owner doesnt have a hard drive.
have you not looked at metal gear or killzone they cant run on the 360.

Ya'll are crazy talking about you would not pay $60 for ModNationRaers. I would be happily to pay 60 for that game and 60 for Rachet & Clank. Do you know how many different levels there will be when the community starts making levels. Are any of ya'll will buy Forza of Gran Turismo when they come out?

I don't get why people say that since a game does not have online, its not worth to pay $60. All these shooters have online but the online does not change that much at all. You do only one thing in online games that people mostly buy and that is shoot someone with a gun for hours. If that ain't the most repetitive gameplay for online then I don't know what is. All I want to say is support a great game with a purchase wheter it has online or not because I will buy Uncharted Drakes Fortune over any of those games with online.
