Capcom has just announced a huge PSN game sale that will be going on for the next few weeks. The games that are on sale will vary by each week and the first gaem on sale is Marvel vs. Capcom 2 which will be on sale for $7.49 from February 18th to February 24th. The next 4 weeks will provide more sales on specific Capcom titles form the PSN at 50% discounts. If you haven't picked up the 5 games that are listed for sale wait for each weeks sales to jump off and go grab them. Capcom is also promoting a comment contest so make sure you check that out as they are giving out free goodies to the winners. This is a good exuse to go and take a trip to your local game store and pick up a PSN card or use your credit card and charge up that account. I went onto the PlayStation Store yesterday to see if Socom Fireteam Bravo 3 was up for download and I was surprised to find 2 different downloadable versions of the game. One was for the full game which is priced at $39.99 and the other was for the multiplayer which was priced at $19.99. I immediately became furious because initially I thought that they were selling the online seperate from the game. So when I got home this morning I made some phone calls and finally get a hold of an article that explains the whole situation. Read more for the details.

On Thursday February 17, 2010 MAG will receive its second update since its release. This update fixes some things in the background, as always, but it also fixes a few problems with the gameplay. The primary fix for this patch that interests me, because it was so annoying, is fixing the resuscitation icon over players heads who only had the med kit. Fighting through hell for the love of your life sounds pretty awesome, right? Well, that's the challenge before you in Dante's Inferno. The game was released last week and was developed by Visceral Games. It's rated "M" for Mature. So most of you will need your mom's permission to play.

Alan Wake Receives Release Date and Special Edition
If you listen to the Generation X podcast or caught some of the CES coverage I pulled out of my ear, you know that I'm not the biggest Heavy Rain fan.
I get what the developer is going for. I just don't think it's for me and believe the novelty of the "gameplay" won't keep me interested past what the demo gives us.
