Halo Wars has sold more than 1 million copies, so it makes sense that Ensemble Studios would continue to support the game. The latest of that support will come in the form of DLC, due out July 21.

The Historic Battles add-on will give RTS fans four new multiplayer maps for 800 Microsoft Points. The maps will bring it new achievements worth 100 gamer points. Here is all the info.

I would to inform you all that the latest Killzone 2 patch is now live. The main change is the addition of the detailed Join Game screen, which was the biggest, remaining request from the community. There are also a number of bug-fixes and some new features. It also adds the support for the upcoming Killzone 2 map pack, "Napalm & Cordite". Well, this is insane. Infinity Ward has officially announced a new edition of Modern Warfare 2 and it comes with operational night vision goggles. That's right. You'll be able to see in the dark while playing the game.

There is currently a cross-platform competition going on with the Battlefield 1943 game. DICE is promising to unlock a new map for both consoles once gamers reach 43 million kills collectively.

The cool part is that the company is keeping track of how many kills gamers from each platform have and it's pretty much a blowout right now. Last time I checked, XBOX 360 gamers had a little more than 14 million. PS3 users were pushing 8.1 million. I'm in for 68 XBOX 360 kills so far.
