There is currently a cross-platform competition going on with the Battlefield 1943 game. DICE is promising to unlock a new map for both consoles once gamers reach 43 million kills collectively.

The cool part is that the company is keeping track of how many kills gamers from each platform have and it's pretty much a blowout right now. Last time I checked, XBOX 360 gamers had a little more than 14 million. PS3 users were pushing 8.1 million. I'm in for 68 XBOX 360 kills so far.

Maybe you haven't heard, but Battlefield 1943 is an online-only, multiplayer, shooter that lets you run, drive, or fly around a five islands that were the scenes of brutal WWII battles. Iwo Jima anyone?

The game is fun, once you get past the current connection problems the game is having because of being "overrun" by players. But that will be fixed and the game, which is done by DICE, will have great potential. It will run you 1200 Microsoft points or $15 on the PSN. But is it worth it?

This week we are going switch it up a little bit. We are together here with GMoney, BowlPakka, Nick, Dave, Daze, Shamarri and Chase to get all their opinions on some of the things going on in the industry today.
