Microsoft is now taking applications for XBOX gamers interested in testing out the coming update to XBOX Live. You'll need to fill out a survey that includes your console's serial number and ID.

Major Nelson gives us all the info on applying. In case you missed it, the new Live OS will including many upgrades. Among them are the ability to rate games, play games on demand, and see game achievements in an easier way.

The addition of Twitter, Facebook, and Last.fm will not be included in this update.

Today I talk about the wide gap between the sales of games on the PS3 and 360. Despite the sales of the consoles,why does the 360 sell much more games?

UPDATE: I would like to apologize for receiving my info on the software attachment rates from an unreputable source and I apologize for that. I have done some extensive research and have found the PS3 ratio to be about 4.6 and the 360 ratio to be about 7.5. I will admit that I was wrong, but the 360's attachment ratio is just a little below double of the PS3's ratio, so my whole discussion still remains relevant.

Looks like the PSP is finally getting some great games that are worth of a purchase! This game is said to have connectivity with the PS3 version which comes out later this year, so if you dont have a PS3 or a PSP, go out and get them!

I don't know about you, but I'm constantly sitting on the edge of my chair waiting to see what Guerilla Games is going to release next. Guerilla has announced a new Killzone 2 map pack called "Napalm & Cordite". Along with two new maps, you will also get two new weapons. United Front Games new game, ModNation Racers, is one game I saw at the Sony Press Conference during E3 that had me excited. I have always been a huge Mario Kart fan since the Super Nintendo, and this is one game that could give it a run for its money.
