Final Fantasy XIII (360) to Be on Three Discs

E-mail Print PDF

Final Fantasy XIII Three Discs

We have all seen speculation of how many discs the 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII will have. Some people were saying two while others were going all out to say five to seven discs. Well all the speculation can now come to a close because Square Enix has come out and said the game will be on three discs.

“Yes the game is on three DVDs for the 360,"

Square Enix gave this information to VG247, so don't think I got this news, but I am glad we finally have a cold hard fact on how many discs Final Fantasy XIII will have on the Xbox 360.

Now I am sure there are a couple fanboys out there that are ready to pounce on all of the 360 owners, but Square Enix also had this to say.

“Players will only have to swap discs twice during their entire game,”

So there you go. Final Fantasy XIII will officially be on three discs, but it will not become a continuous nuisance, unless getting off your butt is a challenge to you.

Read more to read about what it takes to build a new game, how developers take feedback and if this game will have a sequel.
