This week's XBOX Live Marketplace Update is a little light, but still has alot of content that may interest a few gamers. The items that caught my eye were the releases of VidZone Music Videos and the Forza Motorsports 3 trailer. Here are some new screenshots of Square Enix's soon to be released Action-RPG, NIER. The following screenshots show a new location called "Facade" and introduce a couple of new characters from that location. Characters include the King of Facade, and shows off a battle against invading wolves which NIER and his companions become entangled in. The game is set for release on April 27th in North America. NIER will be released on the PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360. NIER is developed by CAVIA INC. Read more to view screenshots.

The highly anticipated PS3 exclusive, God of War III, has received more hype than most current generation games could only dream of. With God of War III being the last game in the trilogy (please notice I said trilogy, not franchise), it is sure to bring an experience like no other. With flesh-tearing and blood-splattering action, what PS3 owner is not looking forward to a game of this caliber? Everyone has been feasting for more info and gameplay and Sony Santa Monica has done just that. They revealed their new trailer for God of War III named, Chaos Will Rise, on GameTrailers TV just last night which instantly made PS3 owners around the nation drool to the floor. This weeks PSN store update isn't that great in my opinion, but there is a silver lining in the dark clouds, the Heavy Rain demo is available or all as of right now. Check it out, the game may not be for you but you need to play the demo to get a feel for the game and decide for yourself. Read more for PSN store update details.

So according to Microsofts X10 events today and Major Nelsons blog, it looks like Capcom's zombie thriller, Dead Rising 2 will be releasing in North America August 31st, Japan September 2nd and Spetember 3rd in Europe. There is also a download exclusive to Xbox Live planned called, Dead Rising: Case Zero, which will include a playable portion which will bridge the styories between the two titles.

Microsoft has announced that Alan Wake has officially received a released date. This comes after 5 years of wondering whether the game would even come out at all, ever. But Microsoft has announced the exact release dates for Europe and North America. Read more for the new trailer and information.

In this episode, Shamarri Miller makes his return to TheGamerAccess.com with Diz and Dave and we give a little sample of whats been in our consoles as of late, including Bioshock 2, MAG, and White Knight Chronicles. We discuss the backlash the PlayStation 3 has received in its lifetime, and whether things have changed and whether some of it was well deserved. We discuss issues concerning the multiplatform release of Final Fantasy XIII and some of the positive and negative responses it has gotten so far from the gaming public. Why doesn't the PS3 have backwards compatibility and how we feel about it. Our main topic almost turns into a Generation X vs. Triple Play debate as we talk about the integrity of the game reviewer side of the business and the possible bias that insists on the remaining inside of the gaming world. Microsoft has announced that the Halo Reach beta will begin on May 3. You will need your Halo 3: ODST disc to take part. That is all.
