Even with Halo 3: ODST's more than stellar launch, there is some trouble to be seen. As many of you know, ODST is the latest Halo game from Bungie. Playing through some of the story mode I could tell they spent a significant amount of time on this storyline and they did a very good job in the way they tell the story of your ODST teammates. Even with such high praise and such a compelling story, there is one BIG issue with the game. Click Read more for more information.
A couple of weeks after the release of Halo 3: ODST I finally was able to pick up the game. Once I got home, I popped in that sucker and with no problem and jumped right into firefight and co-op story mode with my girlfriend. Couple of flashbacks into the story mode and it turned off. I then received a message from my friend asking to borrow the game.
The next day, I took the game over to his house, and to my surprise his XBOX will not read the game. Baffled by the issue we borrowed 3 other copies from our friends and came up with the same problem. Either saying the XBOX cannot read the disc, or it reads it as a DVD. I know that I've read online about other people having this same problem, and to those people I send my condolences.Hopefully Bungie and Microsoft release a patch to help those lost souls, because this is a serious issue keeping gamers from playing a magnificent game.
